The strategic plan communicates what the Auditor-General, with the support of the ACT Audit Office staff members, will pursue to improve accountability and performance of the ACT public sector.
This Strategic Plan links with:
- The Audit Office's annual report, which provides information on the Office's achievement against key accountability indicators (*marked in this plan);
- Branch action plans, which guide activities to deliver the ACT Audit Office Strategic Plan 2017-20. These plans include targets for accountability indicators in the strategic plan;
- Risk management plan, which identifies and addresses risks that may prevent the Office from achieving the strategic plan;
- Staff performance appraisals and performance development plans, which guide the development and performance management of staff in delivering the branch action plans.
