Accessibility

The ACT Audit Office is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. The Office actively works to increase the accessibility and usability of the website and in doing so is guided by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 of the World Wide Web Consortium.

While the Office strives to adhere to the accepted guidelines and standards for accessibility and usability, it is not always possible to do so in all areas of the website. The Office is continually seeking out solutions that will bring all areas of the site up to the same level of overall accessibility. In the meantime if you have difficulty accessing or reading information on this website, please contact our Office.

If English is not your first language then translation and interpreting assistance can be provided by telephoning Access Canberra on 13 22 81.

If you are deaf or hearing impaired and need assistance, please telephone the National Relay Service on 13 36 77.

Document format

Documents on this website are available in Portable Document Format (PDF); Hypertext Markup Language (HTML); and Word documents. The format of the file is generally included at the end of the hyperlinked file name.

Adobe Acrobat Reader is required to view PDFs. The Reader is available as a free download from the Adobe website. The Accessibility Resource Centre at Adobe provides tools that can help people who use speech readers to read the content of PDF documents. These tools work by converting PDF documents to text readable by speech readers. These tools are free.
